Mila (Montreal Institute for Learning Algorithms) is a world-renowned AI research institute located in Montreal, Quebec. Founded in 1993 by Yoshua Bengio, often referred to as one of the "Godfathers of AI".


Mila has now grown into a 700 people research and industry hub working to advance Canada's economic and social innovation of AI. The center's world-class academia and research talent has gained international recognition within the AI sector for its leading contributions in deep learning.
